Description

Adsys Controls’ Razor UAV Test System is a UAV hardware-in the-loop test environment including a real-time 6-DOF vehicle simulation, vehicle systems simulator, synthetic visualization system, and operator/analysis station. The Razor UAV Test System contains a large expandable set of I/O and data communication interfaces. The system supports a variety of UAV avionics, air vehicle systems and ground station configurations. Razor supports full air vehicle system modeling including communication systems, electrical power, fuel systems, and payloads. A library of interchangeable simulation modules supports multiple vehicle configurations with customer-specific avionics and I/O configurations. The Razor Operator Station supports test operation control, real-time system monitoring, time-stamped data recording, test automation, and fault insertion capability. Razor’s3-D visualization system contains a synthetic terrain environment and provides simultaneous vehicle and payload views. The Razor UAV Test System is designed to support a wide array of integration, validation, and verification activities from component integration to full system verification. In addition, Razor supports payload system testing, mission testing, field/depot service testing, and operator training activities. Also available are vehicle development tools including flight trimming, model linearization, stability analysis tools, model validation, and monte carlo simulation support. These tools provide an end to end tool chain for UAS development through flight test analysis.
