Description

DW 417 is DeWAL’s newest multi-functional pressure sensitive tape. This tape is a dead soft aluminum/glass laminate with acrylic adhesive. It is backed with a flexible glass cloth making it highly conformable to irregular and curved surfaces. The tape passes ASTM-E595-07 out-gassing test and is the clear option when silicone contamination is a concern. APPLICATION INFORMATION Designed with a high temperature acrylic adhesive, DW417 is used in the Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial sectors. It is used as a heat shield, wire harness wrap and a thermal masking tape along with other applications.
