The aircraft heater, AH42, is a main power operated aircraft cabin interior heater designed to keep warm, heat or ventilate aircraft through the ordinary air condition intake. The fan gives a total pressure of 3,2 kPa. Without backpressure, full flow capacity is 2 700m3 /h The heater is with these characteristics able to warm keep all types of aircraft regardless of the resistance in the aircraft tubing system. Please note that special arrangements have to be made to avoid a pressure build up if the aircraft outflow valve is closed on ground. The heater is a result of careful studies of different aircraft requirements of airflow, pressure, and heating that are necessary in order to achieve comfortable temperature in the aircraft. The heater will automatically maintain the selected temperature regardless of outside temperature. The temperature selection, 20 0C in cabin, is set in the PLC-system and can only be changed by reprogramming the system.
