Nickel 600 is normally used for thermal, aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, and machine applications. 600 is highly corrosive resistant even during prolonged exposure to extremely hot temperatures. Nickel 625 is often used for chemical, aerospace, marine, and decorative applications. 625 provides high strength, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and fatigue strength at elevated temperatures. Nickel 718 is commonly used for aerospace, and marine applications. 718 is a high strength and high fatigue resistance alloy that is designed to be used for extended periods at temperatures upwards of 1200 F (649 C).
