Fabric covered large span hangars The fabric covered large span hangars are designed for the protection and maintenance of civilian or military aircrafts. The frames are constructed of hot-dip galvanized steel tubing. The covers are made of high strength pre-stressed, flame retardant PVC coated polyester fabric. These hangars have a lifespan exceeding 25 years without the need of extensive maintenance. The hangars are completely sealed off from rain, dust and moisture, enabling the maintenance of a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The hangars are designed to withstand extreme wind and snow loads. The flexible and lightweight structures are earthquake resistant. The large doors are motorized and the dimensions are adapted to the type of aircraft for which it is intended, plus safety margins. Up to the 42 m span width version, fully opening gables are possible. A translucent cover fabric letting daylight through. or an opaque fabric with an optional double insulated roof can be chosen.
