A basic 57 mm variometer with a single pressure input (Pst/TE) is an ideal solution for a club or legacy glider. Featuring navigation to the Take-off point, Flarm radar with warnings, Logbook, Thermal assistant and a built-in backup battery.
Equip your club gliders
Without any complex features, the Helios is a dead-simple device which will never let you down.
Expand it with Flarm
A connection to the Flarm will give it access to GPS info, offering you navigation to take-off location
Warning of Flarm objects
A connection to Flarm will also give out Flarm warnings and show objects on the Flarm radar page.
LX AHRS compatible
Connecting an LX AHRS will open a hidden AHRS page on the Helios, expanding its functionality further.
Simple, yet packed with features
The little Helios is equipped with a built-in reserve battery, offering up to 3 hours of flying on battery. It is expandable with Flarm and other LX navigation CAN-based devices.
Connect it to you static port to have a regular variometer, or to your TE probe to have a fully compensated, digital variometer with an analogue needle.
Single CAN BUS cable accessories
LX navigation uses CAN BUS interface to deliver power and data to any device connected in the loop which means pilot can setup a new add-on within minutes.
Connect a small, compact AHRS module via single CAN BUS cable to Helios CAN port on the back of the device and AHRS page will appear.
Backup battery is our standard
All our devices come with backup battery in case of electrical failure with at least 3 hours of battery juice inside.
