Description

ETFE film is used in release applications because it offers excellent weatherability and is stronger than PFA and FEP. ETFE film has a continuous use temperature of 330°F (165°C), suitable for cryogenic and high temperature applications. We offer three different options for ETFE film ETFE-E2 film is manufactured from a copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene resin and offers an operating temperature of -328°F to 330°F (-200°C to 165°C). ETFE-E2 is a general purpose film that combines the outstanding chemical and thermal flexibilty of fluoropolymer with the improved mechanical performance of advanced engineering grade plastics, making it an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications. BENEFITS: Superior release properties, self-cleaning UV stable: excellent outdoor weatherability Excellent chemical and mechanical properties Excellent for lightweight, transparent surface coverings and architectural openings Thermoformable to shapes of moderate complexity Available with pigment for easy identification Available with C-treatment to provide a cementable surface on one or both sides of the film
