Vector 2 is a new harness that was specially designed for distance flights. It is no extension and no up-grade of our old Vector, but a completely new project, although design and usage experience of the previous generation certainly helped the engineers of Sky Country to fulfill their new task. During the work on that project we paid main attention to maximal comfort and security and studied opinions and wishes of pilots of different levels. While creating Vector 2 we used CE-method (3D-modelling) for the first time in our practice. This helped us to check and work on different technical decisions during the modeling stage. The pilot’s position in Vector 2 became more convenient, turbulence is more comfortable to bear and the total weight of the harness has lost almost a kilo in comparison to the previous generation. Vector 2 has a lower container for a reserve parachute. We worked hard to achieve the task, when the handle is easy to catch and the pilot needs minimal effort to use it. Another advantage of Vector 2 is its new original style: aerodynamic forms, good ergonomics and beautiful prints with Sky Country logo. Vector 2 is just created to satisfy aesthetic enjoyment of its owner!
