The Technisonic TMS-150 is a high performance VHF/AM Aeronautical Band Transceiver which operates in simplex mode and allows quick keypad access and LCD display of the operating frequency range of 117.975 MHz to 130.000 MHz with 25 KHz channel spacing. This transceiver operates from a 12 VDC nominal vehicle power supply (negative ground only). An optional extra cost DC to DC converter (Part No. 863118-1) can be installed in the transceiver to allow operation from an input supply from supply voltage of 10.8 VDC to 30.0 VDC. This transceiver is intended for use in airport service vehicles to allow for ground control over such vehicles while they are negotiating aircraft manoeuvering areas. The TMS-100 is supplied with an under dash mounting bracket, a microphone and a vehicle antenna.
