Tambour door aircraft cabinet

For a VIP completion project, we have developed an extraordinary tambour door mechanism. The particular challenge was that the roller shutters were made of leather and, due to the low guide profile, the rollers were directly connected to the leather. At the same time, smooth and synchronous running behavior had to be ensured, as seven roller shutters are operated individually or synchronously in the master bedroom of the aircraft.
