The aerodrome multi-position observation surveillance system "TETRA" is designed to detect, observe and identify aircraft during flight, takeoff and landing, taxi and parking, as well as control over the movement of vehicles on the runway, taxiways, parking lots and apron equipped with tellers and / or automatic dependent surveillance equipment (AZN-B).
AMPOS "Tetra" is an element of the ground infrastructure of the air navigation system of the aerodrome, interacting with A-SMGCS (CMA System "Vega").
AMPOS "Tetra" provides detection and monitoring of aircraft and vehicles, as well as their identification on the aerodrome manoeuvring area by using information from the following sources:
AZN-B in 1090 ES mode – information on aircraft, vehicles and other objects equipped with tellers;
mobile radio beacons installed on vehicles.
AMPOS "Tetra" is built on a modular principle that combines individual functional modules with fiber-optic communication lines, Ethernet lines, and radio links.
The basic elements of the complex are created on the basis of industrial design blocks, which allows to organize their maintenance and repair quite simply.
