Alloys 6005/6060/6063A/6082 Tempers T4/T5/T6/T66 Standards EN 755/ EN 12020 Vimetco Extrusion is a subsidiary of Alro SA. Located in Slatina, Romania with a stone’s throw from the Alro cast house, Vimetco Extrusion benefits from a secure supply of Primary Aluminium extrusion billets of the highest quality. Vimetco Extrusion was established in 2006, as a separate entity, on the same site of Alro’s rolling mill. Two modernized UBE presses are currently in operation. One press of 2,250 metric tonnes with 8” container and the second of 3,600 metric tonnes with 11” container. Two more presses will be refurbished in the near future. A Farrel press of 1,650 mt with 6” container will start to operate before the end of 2008 and a Sutton press with 5,000 mt and a 13” container will be operational by mid 2009.
