GPI - Glide Path Indicator linked to Baglem Control Panel The GPI (Glide Path Indicator) Optical Angle Indicator allows the pilot to accurately determine the glide path angle on the helipad, facilitating safe landing during both day and night operations. The optical signaling of the GPI projector consists of three distinct light sectors that indicate the helicopter's position relative to the correct glide path angle. The GPI Indicator by BAGLEM® is equipped with customizable software designed by our specialized technicians, allowing for adjustment of the light beam axes and preventing the possibility of incorrect indications. The optical surface of the device is also designed to minimize interference from ice, dust, and condensation with the light signal. The GPI Indicator by BAGLEM® includes a temperature monitoring system and adheres to a safety protocol that leads to automatic power shutdown during device maintenance.
