Advanced Technology Winglet
In 1998 the BBJ was the first Boeing anoaft to he sold with blended winglets, and Boeing is once again raising the bar with the MAX Advanced Tecm»gysWinglet. This new wingtip uses natural laminar flow to reduce drag while at the same time increasing effecfoye wingspan. Standard on all BBJ MAX aircraft, this technology improves range up to 2.5%*. -
The BBJ MAX Family will use the new CFM LEAP-1 B engines, which combine the efficiency of 787 engines with the high cycle durability of the current 737 offering. With an optimized core and a fan 8-inches larger in diameter than the current 737 fan, the new BBJ MAX will extend its range and efficiency advantage over competitors' bizliners.
Lower Cabin Altitude
The BBJ MAX continues to lead the business jetliner category, and features a lower cabin
altitude than the competition. In fact, the cabin altitude in a BBJ MAX never exceeds 6,500
ft, even at max cruise. On a typical long-range mission the average cabin altitude
experienced by BBJ passengers is only 5,600 feet.
