Description

A new dimension in detection Hardened to military standards, reliable and robust; RAID-XP is able to detect, identify and continuously monitor Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) & Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC) using a high end Ion Mobility Spectrometer. Simultaneously semiconductor sensors and two photo diodes are used for the detection and quantification of gamma radiation, dose rate and accumulated dose. Data monitoring and interrogation is achieved through a clear, unambiguous dual display and easy to operate integral software menus. RS232 and GPS interface are enabled. The RAID-XP is a robust and flexible instrument built with trusted Bruker technology that is capable of operating standalone or mounted in vehicles. Combined sensors for Radiological detection and CWA's The RAID-XP Series provides dual chemical and nuclear detection capabilities in a lightweight, man-portable platform. The detection systems combine the principle of ion mobility spectrometry, the de-facto standard for CWA/TIC detection, and PiN diodes are used to detect gamma radiation, displaying dose rate and accumulated dose. Individual displays indicate the respective threats from CWA/TIC and gamma radiation. Two versions are offered. The RAID-XP uses a standard 63Ni source, whereas the new RAID-XPNR uses a High Energy Photoionisation (HEPI) source. Both source versions can be selected. RAID-XP Features Designed for use in harsh environments Continuous and automatic detection Lightweight and Portable Dual display Simple operation
