Description

The DART Quick Release Heli-Utility-Basket™ features a quick release mounting system that enables the operator to remove and install the basket quickly, without tools. Furthermore, for enhanced safety, replacement crosstube supports are included and designed specifically to allow for the mounting of a basket. The low slung design allows for operators to install a large capacity basket that does not impede passenger exit from the aircraft and does not require the installation of push out windows. The basket is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, coated with a high-gloss, scratch-resistant white finish. Enhanced safety with a simple self-locking handle that assures lid closure and secures cargo during flight. Ease of use with gas spring to assist when opening and closing the lid. The basket features a flat heavy duty stainless steel lid that doubles as a step or as a work platform and is attached using a robust hinge system.
