Our white floodlights are specially designed to render the illumination of touch-down and lift-off areas easy. They must be positioned in a way not to dazzle the helicopter pilots during the flight, or the personal working on the ground. They cannot exceed 25cm in height when located within the safety area of an Helipad, frangibility is also mandatory. With a white signal, the average level of luminosity of white floodlights must be of minimum 10 lux. Our products comply entirely with ICAO regulations and the IP66 protection class allows an installation in various climatic regions. Beacons located within helipads are defined by the Annex 14, Volume I, Chapter V « Visual Aids ». These regulations indicate the type of light and the required technical characteristics for all the lights dedicated to helipad marking.
