Our LEDEOMIH is a self-contained heliport beacon, white flashing, built around LED technology. It offers significant advantages in terms of lifetime (100 000 hours), sturdiness and energy consumption. The control of the light can be done remotely, through a deported system (UPS, control panel). The photocell for automatic ignition and the dry contact are both in option. Our heliport beacon gives out series of 4 flashes between 0.5 and 2 ms, every 1.2 second (Morse H Code). Its compact design facilitates its installation. Beacons located within helipads are defined by the Annex 14, Volume I, Chapter V « Visual Aids ». These regulations indicate the type of light and the required technical characteristics for all the lights dedicated to helipad marking. It is recommended to install a Morse Code Helipad Light on a Helipad where : a) Long-distance visual guidance is ruled necessary, and in case it is not handled by other means ; b) Identifying the helideck is difficult due to surrounding stray light The heliport light must be placed within the helipad or at proximity, preferably on a lifted point, in a way that the pilots are not dazzled at low distance.
