4 year lithium battery pack for DEFT-1 ELTs. Shipped as HAZMAT and must be discarded as HAZMAT. This battery pack is approved under TSO-C91a. Specifications: Weight: 1.35 lbs. Size: 2″ x 3.25″ x 3.25″ Voltage: 12V Chemistry: Lithium Polycarbonmonoflouride. NOTE: This battery pack is approved to be carried in aircraft. It meets the 1995 International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods regulations that allow the transport of certain previously hazardous lithium battery products as non-hazardous after successfully completing the recommended safety testing. CAUTION: Do not disassemble the battery pack. Do not short circuit. Lithium is flamable, do not dispose of the battery pack in or near fire or flame.
