Overview
In one seamless platform, the NORTEC™ 700 brings conventional ECT and advanced ECA within easy reach. A new generation of probe technology and high-fidelity imaging provides dual-frequency and bolt‑hole inspection capabilities, simplified workflows and consistent setup across applications. The NORTEC 700 standardizes advanced eddy current inspection functions for field and shop use.

ECT and ECA Integration
The NORTEC 700 combines conventional ECT and advanced ECA in one instrument, allowing users to switch modes without losing setup context and reducing instrument count for fleets.

Bolt-Hole Inspection and Layer Detection
Advanced automatic layer detection and Freeze Mode support bolt‑hole and multi-layer inspections. The N700i differentiates fastener/backing responses from true defects to reduce false calls. Defect Viewer and MiniMite scanner overlay simplify defect localization in holes.

Four Connectors
All models include a LEMO 16-pin universal connector, a BNC ECT connector with automatic internal balancing, an ECA connector, and an I/O connector for system integration. The LEMO connector supports POWERLINK probe recognition and instrument presets for bolt‑hole and conductivity checks.

Display and Layouts
Fast layout selection via Next Layout key. Available display modes: single impedance plane, dual impedance plane, sweep (strip chart), one-to-one view, C-scan, C-scan waterfall, split screen and all-in-one with up to three configurable traces.

Seamless Integration and Durability
