FAB air cargo systems stand out for their special technology for moving, stowing and storing air cargo containers and pallets (ULD). We focus particularly on the integrated horizontal drive, the Power Drive Unit (PDU). This ULD-moving technology, also used in aircraft cargo compartments, has the essential advantage that, when the PDU is in its lowered position, the ULD can be manually positioned on the roller deck. The modular system of the FAB cargo system allows varied combinations of individual system elements in order to meet different customer requirements. FAB air cargo components serve the entire material flow process, from picking the ULD off the truck to placing the ULD on the dollies at the airfield.
