Integrating an NC-controlled chamfering and deburring station with the P90 creates the P90iC. The P90iC handles any profile which can be hobbed, up to a diameter of 100 mm and module 3 mm (optionally module 4 mm). The P90iC is the perfect solution for producing machine shafts using the one or two-cut process for finish hobbing or subsequent hard finishing methods. The two-cut method in one setup (cutting – chamfering - cutting) eliminates remaining burrs in the workpiece flank and increases tool life in the subsequent hard finishing process, especially for honing.
