A LIGHT VALIDATION FRAMEWORK FOR ARINC 653 CONFIGURATION FILES VALIDATION OF IMA FILES validima validima is a validation framework for ARINC 653 specification configuration files. Currently supported are XML configuration files for: ARINC 653 specification Part 1 and Part 2 configuration files sima configuration files air configuration files The validator runs in either of three modes that differ in respect of failure conditions and created outputs: Strict Warning Weak In all modes the validator produces a message, either in XML or pure text format on the standard output that contains all errors and warnings that have been found. In strict and warning mode, the validator, additionally, creates a protocol that lists all performed tests together with their verdict (INFO, WARNING and ERROR). In strict mode the validator fails with error or warnings. In warning and weak mode the validator fails with errors only.
