OverviewLeveraging over 50 years of experience in electronic warfare, HENSOLDT's Kalaetron Attack is an airborne Electronic Attack (EA) system in the Kalaetron self‑protection family. The AESA- and DRFM-based solution enables digital targeting and jamming of signals, simultaneous engagement of more than ten threats, cockpit control, platform integration and autonomous operation. A 360° ESM capability passively detects and identifies threats and cross-references an onboard library to inform the aircrew.
The challengeModern combat systems rely extensively on the electromagnetic spectrum. Electronic Attack (EA) is required to jam, disrupt or spoof adversary sensors and communications, counter integrated air defence systems (IADS) and enable safe operations for fighters and enabling aircraft within contested environments.
Our solutionKalaetron Attack delivers a digital EA capability with AESA and DRFM technologies for agile, multi-threat jamming. It supports cockpit control and integration with existing aircraft interfaces, autonomous modes and continuous 360° passive ESM for real‑time threat detection and identification.
