Thermal and Acoustic Insulation Systems Our Thermal and Acoustic Insulation Systems address the key need for cold, heat, sound and fire insulation. They are tailored made to meet individual customer’s requirements and to fit the walls, ceilings and flooring systems of the given aircraft. Primary and secondary insulation can incorporate burn through barriers meeting FAR 25.856 (b) requirements. Hutchinson offers a full line of proprietary materials including Foils to manufacture blankets (Terflame, Terul, Terimide), Skin Damping and Heavy Layers.
