Overview
The AirTalk® 5400 WL is a lightweight monaural headset designed for air traffic control (ATC) operations. It features a rotatable suspension for secure fit during abrupt head movements, single-sided cable routing for improved comfort and robust steel wires in the connection cable for reliable long-term use. Compatible with a wide range of VCS systems and configurable to operator needs.

Design & Comfort
The newly designed flexible headband adapts to all head sizes and shapes. Removable spacer distance clips enable precise fit and pressure compensation. Ear pads in CoolMax® fabric ensure breathability and comfort throughout long shifts; leatherette and XL variants are available.

Microphone
Multiple microphone options are offered for the AirTalk® 5000 family, including short and long gooseneck types in electret or dynamic versions. The microphone is reversible for left/right mounting and incorporates active noise cancellation for clear radio transmissions.

Customization
PTT (push-to-talk) buttons and connectors can be selected to match specific VCS configurations. Adapter options and connector variants allow integration with different avionics and ground communications setups.
