Description
The shimmy damper test fixture is used to test part numbers 308719 and 309259-1 (CH-47) shimmy damper units. A ½ horsepower DC motor and SCR controller provide driving torque/speed control (by way of a Boston gear 700 series speed reducer). An Interface load cell measures applied torque.
