KOCOVERK Bridge Mounted Heater EL 85 is a powerful all electric aircraft heater mounted underneath the passenger boarding bridge. It is ideal for short time heating during turn around or for long time heating during night stop. OPERATION The EL 85 is extremely easy to use. With a remote control the operator will choose between fan on and off and heat on and off. Due to it is position underneath the boarding bridge there will be no interference with other GSE equipment and personnel on the tarmac. With very low noise level the heater will not disturb the ambient environment. MAINTENANCE KOCOVERK EL 85 heater has very few moving parts - electric motor and fan wheel. This means a minimum of maintenance. Motor and fan bearings are permanently greased for long time operation without maintenance. ECONOMY Due to the lack of chassis, wheels, tow bar etc. the EL 85 offers you a lower cost in comparison with trailer mounted units. Our bridge mounted heater has been tested in actual service to offer you the ultimate in trouble free operation. HEATER EL 85 has a stainless steel heat exchanger with 85 kW capacity (including motor power). This is enough for narrow body and wide body type of aircraft. There is no emission from the heater as electricity is the power source. The heater will operate on a 125 Amp standard power outlet. The fan has is a high pressure high performance fan with characteristics to suit above mentioned type of aircraft.
