DescriptionThe KDAQ-1-8 data acquisition system is engineered to optimize pressure measurements using Kulite pressure transducers. The communication interface is modular and can be changed by replacing the communication board for adaptation to different test environments. A dual-Ethernet option supports daisy-chained configurations. Each of the eight channels measures both the transducer pressure and temperature using the Kulite 5th-wire temperature measurement method. The KDAQ applies coefficients—either read from the sensor or programmed into the unit—to temperature-compensate the transducer and output corrected data. This enables high-accuracy, high-speed data acquisition from transducers even in very harsh environments where conventional digital electronics may not survive. The system supports IEEE-1588 timing and simultaneous sampling on all channels for precise time alignment across sensors.
