Integrated in a single unit under the aircraft’s nose, the system consists of two color cameras, offering stunning forward and downward views. The LATvision™ Landscape Camera System is connected to In-Flight Entertainment and Cabin Management systems, and streams video continuously to passengers’ screens, where it can be displayed on command. The LATvision™ Landscape Camera System is proven to be compatible with Panasonic, Zodiac and Rockwell Collins IFE systems, and is available in Analog, digital SD, or HD varieties to suit the installed IFE. The LATvision™ Landscape Camera system is available from the Boeing and Airbus production lines, and can be seen on the following aircraft types: A380, A340, A330, A319/20/21, B777, B747-8i Other aircraft types, or existing aircraft, can be retrofitted using Latecoere’s own in-house EASA qualified Design Organisation (Part 21J DOA), and replacement parts, and designs for competitive Landscape Camera systems are also available. The LATvision™ Landscape Camera System turns a usual flight into an exciting experience for passengers who can select one of the cameras and enjoy views broadcast in real time. All units of the system meet FAA and EASA requirements, as well as RTCA DO-160 environmental and EMI guidelines, and details of MTBF and support arrangements can be provided on request.
