Description

Overview
The award-winning PulseVentilation system delivers high energy efficiency and installation flexibility for parapet/sill applications. The FVPpulse-V parapet unit enables cost-effective refurbishments and new builds where only a single façade opening is available, eliminating the need for raised floors or suspended ceilings. The pulse ventilation principle creates organic air movement for natural breathing of the building while providing year-round heat and cold recovery and high thermal comfort.

Key features
  • Decentralized heating, cooling, dehumidification and filtration via pulsating ventilation through a single façade opening
  • Highly economical thanks to efficient heat recovery (up to ~90 %) and demand-oriented control strategies
  • Draught-free, low-noise impulse flow up to 130 m³/h (260 m³/h in hybrid mode) with high ventilation efficiency
  • Space savings by removing central AHUs, shafts, ductwork and fire dampers
  • Very low electrical consumption due to minimized pressure losses (≈10 % of EnEV SFP specification; ≈20 W per device typical)
  • Year-round heat recovery reduces sizing and cost of central heating systems

Operation modes & concepts
  • Demand ventilation: pulsating/instationary operation alternates supply and extract between devices for decentralized ventilation without sustained room over- or underpressure (Master–Slave communication supported)
  • Hybrid ventilation: supply-only operation up to 260 m³/h to cover peak cooling loads (e.g., exhaust via window) — nearly doubles cooling capacity and outside-air flow with comparable acoustics
  • Night ventilation: stationary mode for cool-night ventilation without open windows; heat recovery bypassed for maximum cooling

Technical data (summary)
