Description

Dynamic pressure sensors measure combustion instability in gas turbine combustion chambers. They can detect impending compressor surge or stall and monitor the combustion process. This enables operators to get more power using less gas, and to control emissions. High Temperature Piezoelectric (HTPE) Dynamic Pressure Transducer for combustion monitoring, high pressure steam, propulsion testing and gas turbine testing. Our dynamic pressure sensors can measure the pressure pulsations within the compressor, combustion chamber or jet pipe of gas turbine engines. As well as the combustion process, they can also be used to monitor jet pipe resonance, screech or buzz. The end result – improved efficiency Temperature Range : +1000°F (+538°C) continuous, +1200°F (+649°C) intermittent Charge sensitivity 12 pC/psi and 17 pC/psi Sensitive dynamic pressure measurements under high static pressure Integral hardline with variable length. Electrical design optimized for use with single ended amplifiers, designed to accept a 100KΩ; source resistance and terminated with a 10-32 coaxial connector or designs for differential charge amplifiers terminated with a EN2997 connector. Designed to accept a 50KΩ; source resistance. Fully complaint to the European Union’s Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS directives. Model 522M35A is ATEX certified EExnA II T1-20°C
