Description
The thickness meter measures material thicknesses up to 300 mm. The device allows storage of the corresponding sonic velocity for a wide variety of homogeneous materials; sonic velocities for steel, aluminium, zinc, silver and gold are preinstalled in the device library. Individual maximum and minimum limit values can be stored; the device signals visually (and optionally acoustically) when a measured value is outside the limits. The instrument includes a data memory to record measured values; stored data can be analysed directly on the instrument and displayed graphically. Each individual measuring point can be accessed within the graphic. The instrument displays average, largest and smallest measured values. An ISO calibration certificate is optionally available.
