The Viento 67-640 infrared camera is a rugged, cost effective thermal imager for outdoor use in perimeter surveillance, robotics, and other harsh outdoor applications. The Viento 67-640 is a fixed focal length, fixed mount, thermal imaging solution offering standard NTSC/PAL composite video output as well as uncompressed digital output for applications requiring full-fidelity data transmission. The camera is suitable for careful object detection, object classification, slew-to-cue, and other processor-interface applications such as motion detection and analysis and enhanced image processing. The Viento 67-640 is designed to be installed outdoors and operate in wet, dusty, difficult conditions.The Viento 67-640 utilizes a 640 x 480 resolution array with 17 μm pixels. The camera is based on the industry-leading technology from DRS Commercial Infrared Systems. Viento 67-640 includes automatic image normalization with an integrated shutter for perfect image performance every time. The Viento 67-640 features Image Contrast Enhancement (ICE™) for scenes with low thermal contrast. Multiple lens options from wide 90 deg HFOV to narrow 6 deg HFOV are offered.
