Our Speed of Flight collection of textiles includes upholstery and curtain fabrics, leather, synthetic leather and suede, and other flame-resistant fabrics available for immediate delivery. There is a very small minimum order quantity for these materials that are inventoried in our Winston-Salem, NC warehouse. All are first quality materials, and all meet FAR/JAR flammability requirements for vertical burn. The vast majority of the Speed of Flight upholstery fabrics are a minimum of 90% wool fiber, and the remaining content is typically polyamide (nylon). Most of the drapery fabrics are 100% washable flame-resistant polyester, making the cleaning of the curtains as easy as laundering them in a commercial washer, and drying them at medium temperature. The available quantity of the Speed of Flight fabrics varies from a few yards for a single general aviation application to several hundred yards for multiple shipsets of commercial airline seats. Sample swatch books of the Speed of Flight Collection may be requested by upholstery shops, seating MROs and brokers, and aircraft leasing companies that regularly search for in-stock fabrics for seat cover programs. We are pleased to send small swatches of these fabric upon request to those individuals who have a minimal requirement for fabric for a specific small project. Speed of Flight fabrics typically have approximately fifty yards (50 yards) in a full roll. Our minimum order quantity for Speed of Flight fabrics is four linear yards.
