Mobile helipad TAHEL™

TAHEL™ helipads are helicopter fast deployment landing zones. They have been offering safety for helicopter units on field (FOB, FARP, …) for decades. From Yugoslav wars in the 1990’s, through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and the ongoing Mali conflict, TAHEL™ helipads are on duty. Mobi-mat® developed the TAHEL™ helipad range in order to avoid the brown-out (and white-out) effect due to sand, dust or snow. They increase the pilots visibility and reduce the helicopter maintenance need. Safety first The specific Mobi-mat® 3D technical fabric structure of the TAHEL™ helipads assures the best safety for helicopter crews and ground support equipment teams. The wind permeability of the material allows the rotor wash to be evacuated through the helipad with no risk to blow up the mats. The liquids permeability avoids the water or oil puddles, and keep the area always anti-skid. The TAHEL™ UAV helipad is designed in order to set up drones operation dedicated areas. Thanks to the Mobi-mat® experience with helicopter landing mats, the TAHEL™ UAV helipad gathers all advantages for drones operating units. Its specific Mobi-mat® 3D technical fabric material retains dust, sand and snow and avoids all brown-out or white-out effect. Its layout assures the best visibility from the sky and a low signature from the ground.
