OverviewThe CONVERGENCE series unifies civil and military aviation and maritime communications on a single platform. The 9000-3G family combines proven reliability with a compact footprint, enhanced network connectivity and security, and support for both analog and VoIP operation for ATC VHF applications.
9000-3G series — TX9000-3G (Transmitter) / RX9000-3G (Receiver)The 3G generation introduced at Airspace World 2026 provides a compact form factor for installation in constrained equipment racks and improved network features while remaining compatible with military applications and external encryption systems.
Key Features (9000-3G)- Software-defined radio (SDR) optimized for the ATC VHF band.
- Default AM operation on 118–144 MHz with 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz channel spacing; other bands/modes optional.
- Compact design for integration in confined spaces and equipment racks.
- Cost-effective alternative to tactical radios while maintaining compatibility with military encryption systems.
- Implemented modern cybersecurity protocols and authenticated management interfaces.
- Power-saving mode and optimized RF architecture to reduce transmission power consumption.
- Five Ethernet ports for link redundancy and audio/network segmentation.
- Parallel analog and VoIP operation (EUROCAE ED-137 compliant).
- Secure protocols supported: SNMP, HTTPS, SSH (encrypted and authenticated).
TRX9000-2G (VHF Transceiver)The 2G multimode transceiver delivers voice and data capabilities in a single SDR platform supporting aeronautical communication modes and upgrades for additional data links.
