The Tempest PowerFlite® series of aviation alternators is the latest product innovation from Tempest. The PowerFlite alternators are a collaborative effort from Tempest and Aerospace Components, the designers and manufacturers of the popular Tempest PowerFlite starter.
Tempest's PowerFlite alternator is a direct replacement for the late model Cessna aircraft. The 9910591-11AC is a 28V/60A new manufacture unit featuring identical mounting points and no modification necessary. It also features a lower “come-in’ speed and a 2 year warranty.
The Tempest 9910591-11AC is FAA/PMA approved on Cessna 172R, 172S, 182S, 182T and T182T
