TAC | TERAHERTZ PEOPLE-SCREENING CAMERA The Thruvision TAC | TERAHERTZ PEOPLE-SCREENING CAMERA is a proven and high-performance people-screening camera that sees any type of item – including metal, plastic, ceramic, gel, liquid, powder and paper – hidden in peoples’ clothing at distances of 3 to 10 m. Designed to screen moving people, the TAC is completely passive, safe and non-intrusive, and uses Thruvision’s patented terahertz technol ogy. Furthermore, the TAC has been tested and approved by the US T.S.A. for public screening and passed all operational tests. STAND-OFF THREAT & CONTRABAND DETECTION The TAC detects hidden threats and contrabands under people’s clothing, such as weapons, explosives, money rolls, drugs and many more, from a distance of up to 10 m. SMALL ITEM DETECTION Minimum object size of 5cm x 5cm at 5m on stationary person and 35cm x 25cm at 8m on walking persons. HEALTH SAFE TRHOUGH PASSIVE TERAHERTZ TECHNOLOGY The TAC uses Terahertz detection technology, which makes the system completely passive, as no signal is emitted. Therefore, it does not harm pregnant women or persons with pacemakers in any way. TESTED & APPROVED The TAC was thoroughly tested and officially approved by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for public screening, as it has passed all operational testing.
