Overview
THE MICROLINER is a fully electric regional/commercial aircraft concept designed for short-haul scheduled operations. By integrating battery packs directly into the wing structure, the design reduces structural weight while improving performance, enabling up to 400 km (215 nm) of fully electric range (excluding operational reserves).

Battery Technology

• Battery packs mounted in the wing to reduce structural weight and counteract bending forces.
• Proprietary pack architecture designed for maintainability and quick installation/removal.
• Scalable architecture to allow performance improvements as cell technology evolves and to support non-commercial applications.

Propulsion System

• Multi-engine, single-propeller configuration providing full redundancy and enhanced operational safety.
• Independent eDrives delivering the safety and redundancy of a twin-engine layout with an efficient direct-drive architecture.
• Single propeller handling designed to ensure centerline thrust in engine-failure scenarios.
• Proof-of-concept testing completed in 2024; EASA Pre-Application Contract concluded to establish a certification baseline.

Cabin & Interiors
THE MICROLINER features a nine-seat layout optimized for passenger comfort and efficient boarding. Aisle width is comparable to current single-aisle commercial aircraft. The interior can be reconfigured for increased space, reduced seating, or mission-specific roles such as cargo or air ambulance. A dedicated rear luggage compartment preserves cabin space; a lavatory is available on request.
