Therefore, all COM 2000's have a RS-232 serial port built in. It is our pleasure to announce that the COM 2000 is cross compatible as a Garmin SL40. EFIS owners can connect the COM 2000 to the panel and send destination frequencies directly to the radio. Additionally, if the EFIS supports the extended codes, it can also control the unit's volume and squelch.
