Hyperspectral remote sensing technology has become one of the cutting-edge technologies in the field of agriculture and forestry remote sensing.
At present, the research of hyperspectral remote sensing technology in vegetation has been extensive, and the market applications of hyperspectral remote sensing technology mainly include:
Tree species identification
forest biomass estimation,
carbon sink estimation
forest health
pest and disease monitoring
Monitoring of pine nematode disease in UAV hyperspectral imaging system
1. Project background
Pine forests are distributed in my country very wide. However, the tree species is fatally threatened by pine nematodes. Pine nematode is a major alien invasive species in my country and has been included in the target of forest phytosanitary quarantine by my country. Artificial secondary forests have weak pest resistance, and the prevention, monitoring and management of forest pests and diseases have become one of the focus of the work of forestry management departments. Currently, forest management and disease monitoring and prevention methods based on artificial site survey and sample site methods can no longer meet the current requirements.
With the development of industry-level drones, the use of drones to manually identify at high altitude cruise and remotely controlled ground can overcome the traditional time-consuming, laborious and manual missed detection of water bodies on a large scale. Hyperspectral remote sensing technology has strong advantages and great potential in forest pest monitoring.
