Clinical and practical value
After cataract surgery the natural brown crystalline lens is removed, increasing macular exposure to blue light and IR. CARUSO filters combining UV, blue light and IR protection reduce transmission of high-energy wavelengths to the macula and retina and therefore contribute to lowered photic stress on the posterior eye structures.

Cleaning instructions

• Routine cleaning: dry wipe with a microfibre cloth.
• For heavy soiling: rinse with lukewarm water, apply mild detergent to both sides, rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth. Do not dry anti-fog treated lenses by rubbing; let air-dry.
