The MZ175 is a free air cooled, reed valve controlled single-cylinder-2-stroke engine with one carburetor and Nikasil coated cylinder. It has one of the highest power to weight ratio available on the 26.5 HP engine market. Lots of high end torque gives this engine outstanding flying capability. Tuned exhaust ensures maximum power and quiet operation. The MZ175 weighs a mere 14.9kg (33 lbs) including muffler and belt reduction. All models are supplied complete with recoil starter and exhaust system. It is designed for powered paragliding applications (PPG), single or two place PPG trikes, single place HG trikes and single place ultralight planes.
