Overview
Built to overcome signal limits, the DJI O4 Ground Station features a 12-antenna omnidirectional array and automatic multi-band selection. Gateway Mode connects directly to FlightHub 2 to enable low-latency networked operations, while Relay Mode extends offline reach. Designed for continuous, unattended deployment with maintenance-free hardware.

  • Smart Low-Power Mode: in Gateway Mode the station can hibernate when no aircraft are connected, drawing approximately 7 W in standby (station only; total PoE++ system draw will be higher).
  • High-point deployment: Relay Mode supports placement at elevated locations to extend coverage in valleys or obstructed urban environments.


Positioning & Awareness
  • Integrated high-gain RTK module: supports 19 frequencies across five global GNSS systems to deliver rapid acquisition and continuous centimeter-level positioning in semi-obstructed environments.
  • Signal Map: FlightHub 2 generates post-flight signal maps to identify weak coverage areas and optimize station placement.
  • Virtual Cockpit (Gateway Mode): remote aircraft control within station coverage via FlightHub 2, including manual override of preset routes.


Integration & Ecosystem
  • Unified visual management: supports up to four standard IP cameras (ONVIF and GB/T 28181); streams live video to FlightHub 2 with remote PTZ control and camera alert synchronization.
  • Open ESDK & Cloud API: MQTT-based ESDK 2.0 and Cloud API enable custom integrations and connection to third-party Remote ID or ADS-B receivers for real-time airspace awareness.
  • Multi-device rotation: remote controllers or compatible docks can scan and connect to the station sequentially to service multiple aircraft.

  • All-weather protection: IP67 rating for ingress resistance in controlled test conditions.
  • Operating temperature: -40° to 55° C (-40° to 131° F). Operation below -20° C requires a PoE++ power supply of 60 W or higher.
  • Lightning & surge protection: proprietary grounding and lightning protection design meeting EN/IEC 61643-21 Category C; RJ45 surge protection rated 1.5 kA (8/20 μs waveform).
  • Off-grid power: compatible with DJI Power solar solutions or third-party photovoltaic systems for remote deployment (sold separately).
