This proposed solution includes dual controls which have been built into an accurate replica of the Cessna 172 Skyhawk JT-A cockpit. The flight controls, instrument shrouds and pilots seating position closely emulate the actual customer’s aircraft to ensure maximum muscle retention and learning. The flight model for the aircraft has been programmed with the assistance of pilots who have flown the actual aircraft in question. The footprint of this device would be relative to the actual aircraft cut off just behind the pilot’s seat in the aircraft. The instrument shroud and other panels are very accurate replications of those found in the customer’s aircraft. Once suitable pictures have been made available of the customer’s actual cockpit layout, BlueWing will create an accurate representation of the Instrument systems. BlueWing is well able to do either steam gauges or glass cockpit configurations
The proposed BlueWing Cessna Skyhawk 172 JT-A Simulation device will consist of the following;
Controls: Realistic Dual control Yokes, Rudder Pedals and Throttle quadrant. The Yokes have a force feedback system installed.
Avionics: The G1000 Aviation component replica which functions almost exactly the same as the real G1000 ensures maximum transfer of learning and muscle memory retention but at a fraction of the cost. BlueWing is also able to produce accurate steam gauge configurations if so required.
Force Feedback: Force-feedback on the Dual Yoke ensures accurate feel to the control surfaces with changes in airspeed and weight configurations, resulting in a realistic control feel, which adds to the development of muscle memory and rapid emersion into the simulation scenario.
