Description

Overview
EP-M2050 uses Metal Powder Bed Fusion (MPBF™) technology and provides a large build chamber of 2050 × 2050 × 1100 mm (Z configurable up to 2000 mm). The machine features a modular multi‑laser architecture (36 lasers standard; options for 49 or 64) with precise overlap control to ensure uniform large-area melting. Compatible materials include titanium, aluminum, nickel alloys, maraging steel, stainless steels, cobalt‑chrome and copper alloys, enabling direct production of large, high-precision parts for aerospace and related industries.

Key Features
  • Large build volume for one-piece components and high-volume production (2050 × 2050 × 1100 mm; Z up to 2000 mm configurable).
  • High throughput with up to 36 simultaneous lasers (options for 49/64) and theoretical print speed up to 1080 cm³/h for uniform full-size printing.
  • High beam quality (M² ≤ 1.1) and fine detail resolution; achieved part density > 99.9% and mechanical property variance < 5%.
  • Adjustable layer thickness (20–120 μm) and controlled recoating to meet varied process requirements.
  • Open system with editable process parameters (laser power, scan speed, direction, contours) and software tools for planning, simulation and path generation; supports SLC and CLI formats and real-time parameter changes during printing.
  • Industrial powder handling with closed-loop circulation, three-stage filtration with blow-back and permanent filter element, low gas consumption control and multiple scraper options (rubber, alloy steel).
  • After-sales technical support including data evaluation, application development and material parameter packages.

Applications / Examples
  • Active Cooling Expansion Section — Process: MPBF; Size: Φ1940 × 240 mm; Machine: EP-M2050 (36/49/64 lasers); Application: Aerospace & Aviation.
  • Rocket Compartment (reference example) — Process: MPBF; Material: In718; Size: 630 × 630 × 1100 mm; Machine: EP-M1250; Application: Aerospace.

Closed Loop Powder System
The platform integrates a closed loop powder management system for safe handling, circulation and recycling of metal powders to support continuous industrial production.
