OverviewEP-M825 is an industrial metal powder bed fusion (MPBF) 3D printer designed for large-format, high-throughput production. It features an 825×825×1100 mm build chamber, multi-laser optical configurations and precise positioning to support direct manufacturing of high-performance components for aerospace, moldmaking, automotive and similar industrial applications.
Key Features- High productivity: 760 L build chamber; configurations with 4/6/8/10 fiber lasers (500 W standard; 700 W/1000 W optional); theoretical print speed up to 350 cm³/h (up to 410 cm³/h reported for ten-laser simultaneous operation) and bi-directional powder spreading to shorten cycles.
- Consistent part quality: overlap accuracy within ±0.1 mm; print density >99.9%; mechanical property fluctuation <5%.
- High precision: spot size 70–120 μm, max scan speed 8 m/s and precise laser positioning control for stable surface quality; optimized airflow to remove spatter and dust.
- Easy operation & maintenance: three-stage filtration with permanent elements; user interface with one-click printing; real-time build job information and traceable parameter reports; one-piece take-out for automated handling.
- Real-time monitoring & safety: closed powder handling with sealing and recovery; environment and gas-source monitoring; oxygen control ≤100 ppm and safety measures to reduce mis-operation and hazards.
