Self-propelled refueller

The Refueller described in this specification is designed to be reliable, uncomplicated and easy to maintain. It is equipped to refuel aircraft by the underwing (pressure) method through one or both long reel mounted hoses and through two short deck hoses mounted on to an elevating fuelling deck. An overwing reel and hose is also provided. The Refueller is a two axle 6 x 4 truck mounted unit with a usable capacity of 25000 litres and is equipped to tow a two axle Drawbar Trailer of 45000 litres usable capacity. It is designed for use on well prepared airport roads when in the laden condition at speeds limited to 30 k.p.h. The Refueller is configured with the hose reels and control station located between the tank and the back of the drivers cab, the elevating fuelling deck is located at the rear of the tank.
