FORTAL Aeronautics division offers a standard range of towable runway stepladders from 4 to 18 steps and platform height from 1,000 to 4,500 mm. In general, these stepladders have the same main features as the multipurpose runway stepladders and adjustable in height runway stepladder but are fitted with extra options: - Two maximal towing speeds: 5 km/h and 25 km/h - Galvanised steel retractable towbar with ring on staircase side (5 km/h version) or at rear (25 km/h version) - The first 2 steps in galvanised steel grating (5 km/h version) The manoeuvrability and ease of handling of FORTAL’s stepladders inherent in the towing system means time saved during ground-handling operations between flights. - 12-step towable runway stepladder with wide bearing – maximal speed: 5 km/h - 11-step towable runway stepladder with standard bearing – maximal speed: 25 km/h - Custom-made towable runway stepladder with PAX door access - Adjustable in height towable runway stepladder with standard bearing – maximal speed: 5 km/h
